SEO for Health and Wellness Businesses

I would like to start with some questions, what message do you want to get out into the world? What are the words that you want your clients to remember about your business? Finally, who’s your audience? Well ... SEO (Search Engine optimization) can bring you more of these experiences! Focusing your energy on SEO, your business/product stays immediately relevant to your ideal customer and vies you the advantage to capture their attention before your competitors can. It’s important to mention that SEO can help you to lead to amazing results in the health and wellness field, however, it’s a continuous and hard work. Below are some reasons why SEO can benefit health and wellness providers: · Provides a better user experience · Generate more qualified leads to your website · Can create higher conversion rates with minimal investment · Increases brand awareness and engagement among potential customers · Establishes brand credibility and differentiates from the competition To build an SEO strategy focused on the health & wellness field, it’s extremely important to understand what your best marketing sources are in terms of site traffic.

To get your traffic source, it’s essential to think about keywords that you use on your website.

Whether in blogs, homepage text, title tags, descriptions, and meta tags. You’ll need to use the best keywords for your industry and incorporate them as much as possible throughout your website, because this is the reason that people can find you.

Leveraging words related to your geographical area are important to help Google know who should be seeing your content. For example, using “gyms near me,” “Gyms in Stephen green” could get more targeted traffic to your website than using a more generic “Gym center” phrase.

Another example, if you know that you get a lot of traffic from your Facebook account, you can start to identify what type of content those types of visits enjoy and be more strategic about where you send them when they land on the site.

It’s also important to consider the Google algorithm tends to rank on Google's first page, links of blogs and websites which have more likes and followers on social media. This is a way to verify the brand’s reliability and popularity among target audiences.

In conclusion, Knowing the big picture of your marketing will help you be more strategic about SEO and have all your marketing efforts working in the same direction.

Remember SEO isn’t just about more traffic, it’s about more sales.

  1. Hi Natalia,

It is amazing how SEO can work so well if companies understand its importance and use it correctly. As you mentioned, companies need first to acknowledge who their target are and what kind of content they are looking for. To create a more personalized experience when in contact with them through websites, blogs or even through social platforms. I think the integration of all these channels and the right amount of effort to ensure all of them are sync and delivering a relevant content to potential customers will definitely bring positive results that the company wants.
Thank you for sharing this content with us. I hope to see more of your writings soon. ;)

  2. Great insight into SEO Natalia!
SEO is one very important aspect of digital marketing, unfortunately not all marketers are aware of have the know how to do it properly, but your blog highlights some important benefits of using it. Awareness is a good point as it is a free way to promote your brand where the only cost is time. The quick way would be to pay to rank higher but that would affect your ROI for sure.
A change to the algorithm means that now people can't just load the page up with keywords but that they have to relate to the overall content and to the brand itself. Stressful for those that want a quick SEO fix, little do they know SEO is a long-term investment.

    Thanks for your content.
    Keep it up!
