Paid Advertising can boost your presence online
In a previous blog we talked about SEO (Search Engine Optimization), the SEO is indeed the engine that makes everything works when searching on web. Companies like the gigantic Google, the disrupters Facebook and LinkedIn and the newbies like Tik Tok that detain the data collected from the users have monetarised their channels and offer effective options for businesses to reach their target. With high competition online, sometimes only organic search is not enough for your business to highlight between others, that is why you should use Paid Advertising.
Paid Advertising is an online advertising model where advertisers bid to participate in real-time auctions in order to show their ads within slots on a specific platform or network. (innovationvisual.com) Through paid advertising you can increase the chance your potential customer will see your content online. But how it works? Basically, you choose the platform most suits your business goals according to the audience you want to reach, then you pay for this platform to advertise your content through a system called PPC (Pay Per Click) where you will only pay for the ad that is clicked by a viewer.
This model is very effective because is easily measurable, when you compare it to a traditional advertising like TV or Billboard, where is very difficult to actually attribute Return on Investment (ROI). There are loads of different channels out there that can give you a great ROI if you use them wisely to reach the right target. Paid Ads can have many formats, you can create banners to display on YouTube videos, sponsor posts on Instagram and Facebook or use Google Ads to show your content on top of the list in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages) as the example above.
For new business starting online Paid Advertising can be a great ally, as trying to rank only organically can be a challenge at the beginning for relevant terms. So, if you have a new website or blog you can set up a campaign to start seen results very fast and, in the meantime, invest on SEO to build their organic strength.

Hi Osnei,
ReplyDeleteThank your for posting content on paid advertising. I enjoyed reading about some of the points you mentioned such as keyword bidding and PPC. The image showing the ads at 0 position are also a good way to show Google's inbound ads which will always bet SERP results but only if the business is willing to pay for it.
Great tip on mentioning that SEO works alongside paid ads! Truly a business best chance of gaining effective exposure is to use both methods together. ROI is very important for the survival and effectiveness of any business.
Thank you for posting about paid ads.
Hi Osnei,
ReplyDeletethank you for sharing this post on how paid advertising can boost your online presence. Pay per click ads are a great way for new and small businesses to control their budget for advertising. As you explain, the company actually pay only when a customer clicks on the ad. They are also targeted so they improve the possibility fo the businesses to reach an audience actually interested in the products they are offering.
I agree with you that another important factor of using paid advertising is the fact that the results are easily measurable. Reading the data will help a business to understand if a startegy is working or not.
I am looking forward to read more content from you!

Hi Osnei,
ReplyDeleteAmazing post! Thanks for sharing some concepts regarding paid advertisement and boosting the online business presence.
It's extremely important to understand the base of using paid adverts and you explained it in a simple and easy way.Something new to me was about SEO, I didn't have any idea about it and how it works.
I’ve noticed in my small business that paid advertsment is increasing the number of new visitors on my website and also the sales rate. For me the most challeging stage was to choose which of the platforms available I would opt to advertise my service. I have to try on different platforms and based on the Pay Per Click metrics it’s worth to advertise on facebook.
Thank you very much!
