5 Tips To Rock Your Wellness Business On Social Media

In today’s post, I will explain the best practices to use social media for the Wellness business. Nowadays it is fundamental for any business to have a digital marketing strategy and social media is part of it.
Being on social media allows companies to promote their brand, increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and generate leads. Managing social media seems to be simple although it is a job that involves many details and strategies. Follow our tips and help your business to build a good relationship with your audience and get an excellent engagement on social media

1) Choose the best channel for your target

There are plenty options of social media platforms (Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram, Linkedin, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit) each social network has its characteristics and functionality. It is fundamental to create content that matches the objectives and public of the network you are going to use. For example, you should not use the same image format for Facebook posts and Instagram stories, as they have different formats.

It is essential to define your target audience it will help you to choose the right social media platform for your business goals. For example, if you have a studio Massage and your target public is over 40 years old Facebook would be the right platform for your business. According to Statista, 21.4% of all Facebook users are ages 45 and older. In another hand, platforms such as Snapchat and Tik Tok would not be suitable to this specific target as they are popular among younger generations. In the USA, 32.5% of TikTok users are ages 10 to 19. And 29.5% are ages 20 to 29. Regarding Snapchat 82% of users are under the age of 34. Source: Statista.

2) Finding the Right tone

One of the biggest benefits of companies using social media is the opportunity to engage with your customer target. Finding the right tone will help your company to connect with your public. Always act in a way to generate more engagement with your audience, being polite and professional. Although do not speak like a robot or automation – be human. Create personalized conversations, for example: if you answer a customer question, call them by their name, give them attention. It will generate more empathy.

3) Be creative

Social media platforms are extremely visual. Make content that is visually interesting and appealing. Elaborate a visual identity for your business that is attractive in the eyes of the public target. This is a fundamental investment for your business in digital marketing.  If your business has a low budget for social media you can use free bank images; they offer high quality images. I recommend Unsplash, Rawpixel, Freepik and Depositphotos, they are the best.

4) Boost your posts

As well as activities such as posting updates, pictures, and videos, brands can use social media for paid advertising. On social media their goal is to drive engagement and clicks, trying to get customers to respond to their messaging while building brand loyalty.

Facebook for example, is a reliable choice when deciding where to advertise. Facebook offers a wide variety of demographics, including gender and age. That means if you are running a local shop of candles and essences you can directly target users by their location, age or even interests. I recommend you using detailed interest targeting on Meta Business Suite. The business owner can use tags likes #candles #aromatherapy #candlebusiness #homedecor #scentedcandles #candlecompany. This tactic will help the business to reach the people who are most interested in their topic and the most willing to spend money on it.

5) Analyze your metrics

Using digital media analytics, advertisers can gain insight into how their customers act online, what they react to, and what moves they should make. Metrics analysis is part of the social media management process and cannot be overlooked. It is necessary to know if the actions are having satisfactory results or not. Therefore, analyze the metrics and make strategic decisions for the next planning.
